Welcome to Vocal Studio ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to safeguarding your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Vocal Studio mobile application.

2. Permissions and Data Processing

Vocal Studio functions primarily as an on-device digital audio workstation (DAW) and vocal companion:

Audio Recording (RECORD_AUDIO): Required to capture high-definition vocal takes, display real-time VU audio meters, and compute pitch detection. All vocal recordings are stored strictly locally on your device. We do not upload or store your audio on any remote servers.
Camera (CAMERA): Used only when you choose to record video takes alongside vocal sessions using your device's camera. Media remains private on your phone.
Audio Settings (MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS): Calibrates input mic preamp levels and manages acoustic DSP filters.

3. Advertisements (Google AdMob)

Vocal Studio integrates Google AdMob (Google Play Services Ads) to support development. AdMob may collect and transmit certain device identifiers:

Google Advertising ID (AAID)
IP address and coarse location
App usage analytics and diagnostics
